Pricing FAQ
- How does the 14-day trial work?
- You sign up with a kennitala (Iceland) — no credit card required. You get full access to Pro features for 14 days. If you don't cancel before day 14, your subscription auto-converts to your chosen plan and we send the first invoice via Payday.
- What counts as an “AI resolution”?
- An AI resolution is when the AI replies to the customer on its own and the conversation is resolved without any human involvement — on any channel (email, chat, social, phone). AI draft suggestions that agents review and send, auto-tagging, triage, and translation are never counted — those are included in the seat price.
- Do I have to use AI resolutions?
- No. AI resolutions are an optional add-on — you control whether the AI replies to customers on its own and can switch it off anytime. Everything else in Elvo works the same without it, and an inactive AI costs nothing.
- When does billing for AI resolutions start?
- AI resolutions are unlimited and free until August 1, 2026. After that, each resolution is billed at $0.65 — you only pay for what the AI actually resolves. Before billing starts we'll surface your usage in settings so nothing comes as a surprise.
- How are AI resolutions billed?
- In arrears — the month's resolutions are added as a line on your next invoice. Each conversation counts at most once, no matter how many questions the AI answers in it, and if the customer replies again no resolution is counted.
- Can we cap AI spending?
- Yes. You can set a monthly limit on AI resolutions — once it's reached, the AI stops replying on its own for the rest of the month, while reply suggestions and other AI assistance keep working. Your invoice can never surprise you.
- What does the Raddþjónn phone agent cost?
- The line fee is 4,900 kr. (~$35) per month per phone number (+tax). It includes an Icelandic number, setup with our team, and 100 call minutes per month — roughly 100–150 typical calls. Minutes beyond that are 40 kr. (~$0.29) each, added as a line on your next invoice. Minutes count the full length of a call, including after a transfer to your team.
- Do I pay both minutes and an AI resolution for the same call?
- They cover different things. The line fee and minutes pay for the phone itself — the number, the answering, the transfers. The AI-resolution price ($0.65) applies only when the Raddþjónn fully resolves the caller's case on its own, just like on chat and email. Most calls fit inside the included minutes, so a resolved call typically adds only the resolution fee.
- Do add-on prices also apply on Enterprise plans?
- Yes. AI resolutions and the Raddþjónn are billed at the published price list on every plan, including custom contracts — unless your agreement explicitly states otherwise.
- Will my coworkers see my personal email?
- No. Your team only sees the shared inboxes your company connects (e.g. help@ or sales@). Personal inboxes and direct messages are visible only to you.
- Can I change plans anytime?
- Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect immediately and the next invoice is pro-rated to the new plan.
- Can you migrate us from Zendesk, Help Scout, or Front?
- Yes. Our onboarding team handles migrations on Scale and Enterprise. On Pro, we'll point you to our migration tooling.
- Do you offer pricing for nonprofits or startups?
- Yes — get in touch with your kennitala and we'll review eligibility for a discount on Pro or Scale.
