Forwarding

Connect any address to Elvo by forwarding mail to a dedicated Elvo intake address.

Forwarding works for any address or mail server — including when a direct Google or Microsoft connection isn't available. You have your mail system automatically send all mail to a dedicated intake address at Elvo.

Connect

  1. Open Settings → Email and click Add account.
  2. Choose Forwarding. Elvo gives you a dedicated @inbound.elvo.is address.
  3. Set up forwarding in your mail system so all mail goes to that address.
  4. Click Send test again to confirm mail arrives correctly. The status should read Verified.

Sending replies from your address

For replies to go out from your own address (not @inbound.elvo.is), your mail system needs to let Elvo send on your behalf, or you configure SMTP. Without that, replies go from the default address.

FAQ

Does the customer see @inbound.elvo.is? No — it's only an internal intake address.

Does forwarding cover old mail? No, only new mail after forwarding is set up.
